Safety Standards

Driftwood Diamond Drilling Ltd. is committed to the establishment of a safe and healthy workplace and to the integration of health and safety into all workplace activities.  We are active members of the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association (CDDA), and are DEC certified.

The directors and senior management of Driftwood recognize the importance of providing all employees, visitors and contractors with a safe and healthy work environment.

Driftwood Diamond Drilling operates within Canada and Mexico. In order for our business to operate productively and safely, an approved set of guidelines is essential.  Every employee is required to read and sign our “Employee Handbook” at the start of their employment.  This handbook is intended to introduce new employees and contractors to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) management.

Policies, procedures and programs have been developed to offer guidance should EHS issues or hazards arise. It is the responsibility of all employees and contractors to learn the safe practices presented in the handbook and specific job task procedures and follow them at all times.

For additional information Driftwood Diamond Drilling has an EHS Program Manual, which is available upon request.
